Mrs. Amber Bottoms graduated from East Carolina University in 2004 with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. She began her teaching career at Louisburg Elementary School in 2004. In 2008, she obtained her Master's Degree in Elementary Education from East Carolina University. She has taught 1st grade for 10 years and 2nd grade for 7 years here at LES. This is her 2nd year as the schools’ Reading Interventionist.

My name is Jennifer Wade, and I am the Instructional Coach. I completed my Masters in Education at Western Carolina University in May, with a focus on elementary education, comprehensive education/literacy. I earned a Bachelor's in Elementary Education from Franciscan University of Steubenville in 2002. I have taught in Franklin County and Vance County for the past 18 years. I have taught second grade, first through third grade reading intervention, kindergarten, and third grade ELA, science, and social studies. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, spending time with my family at Kerr Lake, and riding my horse. I am married and have one adult son. I'm originally from Ohio, and I (unfortunately) am a lifelong fan of all of the Cleveland sports teams!

Mrs. Kristy Crawford graduated from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania in 2001 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. She began teaching first grade at Louisburg Elementary School. Within her first five years of teaching, Mrs. Crawford earned her AIG certification. In 2007, Mrs. Crawford became the Reading First Coach at Louisburg Elementary. She continued her studies at East Carolina University receiving her Master’s of Arts in Education in 2008. She then obtained her National Board Certification in the area of Generalist in 2009. In 2014, Mrs. Crawford became the AIG Resource Teacher for Louisburg Elementary School. Beginning in 2017, Mrs. Crawford currently serves 2 schools, Louisburg Elementary and Bunn Elementary as the AIG Resource Teacher.

Ms. Mary Griffin graduated from her undergraduate program in Interpersonal and Public Communication from NC State University in 2015. She went on to earn her Master's in Communication Science Disorders from NC Central University in 2018. She started working in the Franklin County School district in December 2018 and has been with Louisburg Elementary since the start of the 20/21 school year. She enjoys working with her students on goals such as articulation and vocabulary and everything in between. When she's not with students, she enjoys spending her time cooking and reading.
