Fourth Grade

Ms. Dyess is a native of Fort Myers, FL. She attended East Carolina University and has been Teaching for 13 years.

Jaleesa Hicks is a native of Louisburg, North Carolina. She graduated from Louisburg High School and she has had some great teachers through her academic career and has always wanted to give back to her community. She knew from a young age that teaching was her passion. She went on to graduate from North Carolina Central University with a B.S. in Elementary Education. Today she has been teaching 14 years as a Fourth grade teacher at Louisburg Elementary School. She has had the opportunity to learn and grown in many ways from being the 2022-2023 Teacher of the Year at her school to being a Mentor Teacher for the 2023-2024- 2025-2026 school year and this current year. These opportunities are great milestones to furthering her career in the school system as well as extending her capacity to help her community.

Danesha Meeks is an awesome 3rd grade teacher at Louisburg Elementary School. she has lived in Raleigh NC for her whole life. She went to a four year university Johnson C Smith University earning her bachelor's in science. Science is one of her passions and, she also is our 3rd grade math and science teacher. she plans to get her masters in early childhood education to keep continuing what she likes to do.
