I am a person that loves math, reading and learning in general. I love teaching and have taught for 25 years so far. This is my 26th year in education. I began teaching in 2000 and have never looked back. I believe that all children can learn and that all of them learn differently and at different paces. I am 60 years old, but definitely don't feel that age and try to stay young at heart. I went to three different colleges and have three different degrees. I have been a teacher and an A.P. I enjoy doing both jobs. I have learned CPR, been trained as an EMT, and gotten certified in Phlebotomy. I have an artificial left leg and use that knowledge as a way to teach students to respect and understand that all people are just people, not matter the issues they may have. I am married with no children of my own. I think of all my students as my babies once they pass through my class. They are always in my heart. I have a love of animals. I have dogs and cats and have owned horses. I've ridden and elephant and done indoor skydiving. I also enjoy art, different types of music and gardening, especially roses and hostas. And that is me.
