Ms. Tribble has spent over nearly four decades weaving together a career defined by education, service, and public stewardship. Beginning her journey in the public school classroom over 35 years ago, she has dedicated her life to empowering students and giving back to communities both at home and across the globe.

Her pursuit of service extends far beyond the traditional classroom. As a military veteran, she served overseas during the Iraq War, demonstrating resilience and leadership under extraordinary circumstances. Driven by a deep commitment to global development, she also served as a Peace Corps Volunteer on two separate occasions, teaching students from the kindergarten level all the way through college and building bridges across cultures.

At home, her love for the natural world and public service led her to work with both the National Park Service and the U.S. Forest Service. In her roles, with the U.S. Forest Service, she taught reading comprehension to Job Corps students. At the Park Service, she helped protect public lands, educate visitors, and conserve environmental resources for future generations.

Whether standing at the front of a college lecture hall, guiding visitors through public lands, or serving in uniform abroad, Ms. Tribble brings a unique depth of experience, adaptability, and heart to every endeavor. Today, she continues to inspire others through a lifetime built on duty, learning, and service.

Ms. Fenske-Anderson is a native of Louisburg, where she attended Louisburg Elementary School and graduated from Louisburg High School in 2005. She was awarded the NC Teaching Fellows Scholarship and attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, graduating with a Bachelor of Music and Master of Arts in Teaching. She taught high school concert band and marching band in Perquimans County and Wilson County for eight years before teaching elementary school music in 2018. She was awarded 2024-2025 Teacher of the Year for LES.

Mr. Morrissette is a Physical Education teacher with a Bachelors Degree in Physical Education from East Carolina University. Mr. Morrissette has deep roots in Franklin county being a graduate from Bunn High School. He has over 6 years of experience in providing the essential service of teaching the youth. He is dedicated to guiding the next generation to be healthier in both mind and body. He does this by continuously studying new and well established ways to teach health and exercise. He also always emphasizes the importance of a well balanced diet and a good nights sleep.

My name is Penny Person, and I have dedicated the past 23 years to working with and caring for children. Throughout my career, I have had the wonderful opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of young people by creating a safe, loving, and encouraging environment where they can learn, grow, and feel valued. Working with children is more than just a job to me it is my passion and my calling. Over the years, I have built meaningful relationships with children, families, and coworkers, and I am grateful for every experience that has helped shape me into the person and educator I am today. I believe every child deserves someone who will believe in them, encourage them, listen to them, and help them see their full potential.
