Teaching is an absolute passion of mine! I am so excited to work with you and your child! It will be a year full of fun, learning, and lots of adventures, and I can’t wait to see what the year has in store for us! I thought you might like to know a little bit about me.
I graduated from Columbia Southern University in 2009 with a degree in Industrial Engineering. I finished my Business Administration Master's degree from CSU in the Spring of 2011. I moved to Louisburg in 2007, and have made this area my home. I have two children, a son Isaac and a daughter Estelle. I love gardening, floriculture, furniture restoration, and raising my animals on my little farm. We have 3 rabbits, 2 dogs, 2 ducks, and 16 chickens.
This will be my 2nd year teaching at Louisburg Elementary. I love teaching. It is my mission to instill a love for learning in my students. I attempt to teach with a passion so that my students develop a desire to become life-long learners.
Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. Third Grade can sometimes seem overwhelming, and my goal is to make this transition as easy as possible. It is so important to keep communication open between us, and I would love to talk to you throughout the year to help your student have a successful school year! Mrs. Emily Darrin graduated from Kent State University in December of 2019 with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education. She moved from Ohio to North Carolina in 2020. This year will be her 3rd year at Louisburg Elementary School.

Mrs. Abby Gonzalez graduated from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania in 2004 with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. She moved from Pennsylvania to North Carolina to start her teaching career in 2004. This will be her 19th year here at LES.

Mrs. Corinthia Paige graduated from UNCW in 2018 with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education after serving in the United States Navy. This will be her fourth year teaching at Louisburg Elementary. She is originally from Vermont.
