Louisburg Elementary is a school-wide Title I School so all students are encouraged to fully participate in school opportunities that are described in this plan. The school will attempt to provide necessary accommodations to allow for opportunities from all families in regard to the Parent and Family Engagement Policy, school-parent compact, and the school/family engagement budget.

Where is it available?

Louisburg Elementary actively seeks to make the Parent and Family Engagement Plan readily available to all students and families throughout the school year. The plan is posted on the school website where it is available for all stakeholders. FCS also has a district policy that is posted on our FCS website. The home-school compact is sent home with students at the beginning of each school year. The PFE policy is also available during each Open House and scheduled parent meetings. It is also available upon request.

Our School will host the following events to build capacity for strong parental involvement. Our goal is to support a partnership among the school, parents, and the community to improve student academic achievement.

DATE: 8/21/2025 TIME: 4:00-6:00 LOCATION: LES	OPEN HOUSE Teachers host Open House events to welcome parents and students to the 2023-2024 school year. During this meeting, teachers will review class schedules, classroom expectations, and other important information.
DATE: 9/16/2025 TIME: 5:30-7:00 LOCATION: LES	Title 1 Back to School Meeting A general meeting will be held with all parents about the benefits of Title 1. Afterwards teachers will present grade level expectations and focus standards.
DATE: 10/14/2025 TIME: 5:30-7:00 LOCATION: LES	Title 1 Curriculum Night/Math Games Teachers will present parents with math games to help students learn math concepts. Teachers will teach the strategy or skill to parents and give them all the necessary tools to work with their children at home.
DATE: 11/3 - 11/14 TIME: various LOCATION: LES	Parent Conferences Teachers will present parents with reading strategies. Teachers will teach the strategy or skill to parents and give them all the necessary tools to work with their children at home.
DATE: 11/18/2025 TIME: 3:00 - 5:30 LOCATION: LES	Fall Festival PK-5 students and parents will have an opportunity to engage in family fun. LES staff will provide games and treats for the whole family and community.
DATE: 12/16/2025 TIME: 6:00-7:00 LOCATION: LES	Winter Concert K-5 Students will display their vocal and musical talents for parents and community.
DATE: 1/20 - 1/30 TIME: various LOCATION: LES	Parent Conferences/Report Card Pickup Teachers will present parents with reading strategies. Teachers will teach the strategy or skill to parents and give them all the necessary tools to work with their children at home.
DATE: 3/23 - 4/2 TIME: various LOCATION: LES	Parent Conferences Teachers will present parents with reading strategies. Teachers will teach the strategy or skill to parents and give them all the necessary tools to work with their children at home.

DATE: 4/28/2026 TIME: 5:30-6:30 LOCATION: LES	Talent Showcase Students will display their various talents for parents and the community
DATE: 5/12/2026 TIME: 5:30-7:00 LOCATION: LES	PK - 4 Transition Night Parents will be given information and expectations for the next grade level. Parents will also be able to ask questions or voice concerns about the next grade level.
DATE: 6/5/2026 TIME: 8:00 - 12:00 LOCATION: LES	Field Day Students, their families, and the community will enjoy a day of fun in the sun with games and treats!

Strategic Plan 2020-2025

This guiding document, Blueprint 2025, is provided as a high-level overview of the district’s plan. In addition, we have provided a breakdown of strategies by goal.

Due to the significant and ongoing impact of COVID-19, designation of benchmarked measurable outcomes for each year is difficult to establish at this time. The district will use the 2021 spring assessment results as a baseline for yearly targets based upon each goal.

Louisburg Elementary will take the following measures to promote and support parents as an important foundation of the school in order to strengthen the school and reach our school goals:

Teachers will provide progress reports to parents that focus on academic progress and behavior.
Teachers will continue communication to all parents through phone calls, emails, etc with evidence through a parent contact log.
Newsletters and parent information will be translated for ESL families.
Parent Surveys giving feedback about the school year.
Hold Title 1 Night and other school events that focus on community involvement
