Strategic Plan 2020-2025

This guiding document, Blueprint 2025, is provided as a high-level overview of the district’s plan. In addition, we have provided a breakdown of strategies by goal.

Due to the significant and ongoing impact of COVID-19, designation of benchmarked measurable outcomes for each year is difficult to establish at this time. The district will use the 2021 spring assessment results as a baseline for yearly targets based upon each goal.

School Parent Compact
Together we will develop an agreement that parents, students and teachers will develop to explain how all stakeholders can work together to ensure all students reach grade-level standards.

Parent and Family Engagement School Goals

Louisburg Elementary will take the following measures to promote and support parents as an important foundation of the school in order to strengthen the school and reach our school goals:
  • Teachers will provide progress reports to parents that focus on academic progress and behavior.

  • Teachers will continue communication to all parents through phone calls, emails, etc with evidence through a parent contact log.

  • Newsletters and parent information will be translated for ESL families.

  • Parent Surveys giving feedback about the school year.

  • Hold Title 1 Night and other school events that focus on community involvement

Parent Resource Center
Parent and Family Engagement
If your family is in need of resources or assistance, please contact our school counselor:

Louisburg Elementary believes that parental involvement means the participation for parents in regular two-way and meaningful communication about student academic learning and other school activities.

This ensures that parents are full partners in their child’s academic development and are included, as appropriate, in decision-making and on advisory committees to assist in the education of their child.

School Improvement Team
Ways to Contact the School
The SIT at LES follows the NCDPI School Improvement Planning Implementation Guide. As part of our election process, all our staff vote anonymously to elect teachers from each grade level, support staff, and parental representation for our SIT. These members are vital to the decision-making process regarding the general operation and continuous improvement process at Louisburg Elementary School. The team works together in conjunction with the school's Positive Behavior Support Team to create a strong mission and vision for the school.
We want to hear from you. If you have suggestions or if there is any part of this plan that you feel does not align with the students’ and schools’ goals for academic achievement, please email one of the following school representatives.
